Daines & Hathaway. 2010. Brand heritage research and bag collection design.

 

Daines & Hathaway, leather goods manufacturers established in 1922 have a rich heritage, albeit poorly archived. The company commissioned me to research their history and design a new capsule collection based on this.  The resulting design concept is based around the a D & H patented 1920's cigarette case design and features leather moulding techniques, bevelling and specific strap shapes; detailing authentic to the company's production of that era.
